The new walkie-talkie Baofeng UV-6R is the new improved version of the famous UV-5R. It covers transmission and reception from 136 to 174MHz (VHF) and 400 to 520MHz (UHF) with 5 watts real in VHF and UHF on the amateur radio bands 144 / 430Mhz.

More than just a change of case, the UV-6R is equipped with the new firmware HDBF230, it is also more sensitive than the UV-5R, with a more powerful loudspeaker, a larger antenna (15cm). The menu and functions remain identical to the UV-5R.

This is a new model of the reliable Baofeng radio, which is a universal tool for radio communication both in the air, on land and at sea.

Baofeng UV-6R is a dual-band radio (duobander) with a power of up to 5 watts with a double display, DTMF keyboard and Dual Watch function and additionally drip-proof. The Baofeng UV-6R radio is a worthy successor to the UV-5R model in which the main panel has been improved and the number of keys has been optimized. Unlike the UV-5R, the PTT button is made of a much more durable material, and more pleasant to the touch.

 The device has been fitted with a new, longer 15-cm antenna thanks to which it transmits both signal and radio waves better. It is 3 centimeters longer than in the predecessor UV-5R.
